Frequently Asked Questions

How much can I make in this industry?

The minimum pay is $500 per day and you can make as much as $5000 a day depending on which company shoots you and also depending on your profile. There is no obligation and you are usually paid right on the spot immediately after each shooting. Here we give a hint on how much talent is usually paid.

What kind of work can I get?

The type of shoots range from nudity to soft porn to XXX and are determined by what the model is comfortable in doing.

Do I have to be a U.S. Citizen?

No, you don't. But Federal Law requires that to work in the United States you must be a Citizen, or Resident Alien (Green Card holder) or have a current work permit issued by the BCIS.

What is the paperwork involved?

All professional and successful producers today are very particular about having all the paperwork well done and we assist both producers and talents to have all paperwork verified and properly organized, like identifications, model releases, bills of health, employment eligibilty, work specifications, etc.

Do you represent male talents?

Yes, we do. Both for straight movies and for gay movies. However, keep in mind that we receive a huge quantity of applications for male models and just a few of them are approved. Make sure you include in your application any credits and references you may have.

Do you represent BBW or mature talent?

Sometimes we do. We are mindful that the demand for BBW and mature talent is very limited and you should be too. So please include in your application any credits and references you may have.

Do you accept couples?

Yes, we do accept couples. It is up to you whether you two work strictly with each other or with other people.

How much do you charge?

We charge a $100 one time set up fee. We will only charge you if we decide to represent you. If we don't believe you have the right profile, or if we think you are not ready to start we will not take your money.

On the projects you take we will keep 10%. That includes advertising you and doing our best efforts to have you participating in castings and signed up for jobs. If you need accomodations or transportation those are charged separatelly.

What kind of pictures do you need?

To make it easier to understand what kind of pictures we need and why, we create this simple guide.

Are your models exclusive or independent?

We represent only exclusive talent. Exclusive talent are individuals that are exclusively available through American Talent Management. Talent represented by us exclusively benefit from career management and guidance, coaching, promotion and a commitment to assist them in reaching their professional goals.

Do you cover travel and accommodation expenses?

As a general rule we do not currently cover travel and accommodationscosts for talent. In some cases producers may cover these costs or we may provide talent advances against their earnings to cover those expenses.

Is HIV testing required for all of your talent?

All our talents are required to maintain current tests in accordance with the Testing Requirements regulated by the AIM (Adult Industry Medical Health Care Foundation).

Do you cover testing costs?

All testing fees related to AIM services are the responsibility of talent. In some cases we may advance talent funds to receive testing.

There are many agents in the market. What makes you different then any one else?

The difference starts at what happens as time goes by and the producers see your profile and show some interest on you, or don't show any. As you can see for yourself most agencies post your profile on line and that is pretty much all they do. If your profile is great and you fit the exact standards of the industry that may be enough to get started.

We don't post profiles on-line: We interview the producers to figure out what is it they are looking for. Then we look at our database and see which talents are a perfect fit, which ones are close to it, and which ones can be improved. We will then contact you and suggest modifications to your profile, we will request new pictures when needed, we will give you the information you need to improve your profile and that will improve your chances of being chosen.

Another difference happens afterwards when you actually do work. Sometimes during a production a director wants to change the terms of your contract, or asks you to do something you don't feel comfortable about or that is not on your contract. We will be available to sort it out and see that you are not put in a situation you can't or shouldn't handle by yourself. We will also make sure that your (and the producer's and other talent's) paperwork is fine, and will make sure that you (and us) get paid.

Posting your profile is easy. Working with you is different, and that is what we do.

Is there anything else I need to know?

Yes. Please have a look at this page with some suggestions.
